what i need is, In my crystal report i am grouping data by datetime value but in the group tree of my crystal repot the date is showing in the format yy:mm:dd..
I need to change this format to dd:mm:yyyy format...
Plz help me...

I am in a block, plz help me now...

If you are using Date field you can follow the below steps.

1. Right Click on the group date field.
2. Click Format Object
3. Goto Date Tab
4. Change to the format you need.

It formats date in group field, but group tree still shows default format, how to change date format in group tree
Just go into the "Change Group" on the context menu and click the options tab.

Select the option for "use formula as group name" and use the
ToText ({tbl_XXXXXXXX.SpeciminDate},"dd-MMM-yyyy") or whatever format you wish.
