Which is the best way to connect to db(SQL server 2008 r2) from a VB.NET web application?

ODBC DSN or ODBC -- Standard Connection or OleDb -- Standard Connection or SqlConnection or SqlDbConnection? or any thing else? the access to web application must be fast and smooth when there are N number of concurrent users?

What I have tried:

currently am using SqlConnection. is that fine?

Yes, yes, yes! Because SqlConnection Class (System.Data.SqlClient)[^] is designed for SQL server database.
