Yes, we've decided to move all the databases to SQL Server 2012 on Windows Server 2012.

Thanks again!
The requirement is very straight forward. Client has to move up from the existing Windows Server 2003 to any upper version as Microsoft will stop supporting post Jun 2015. Currently, SQL Server 2005 is there in that server.
So, we're considering moving to either Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012. Along with that, the database will be upgraded to SQL Server 2012.
There is no limit of resources (hardware/software). We can get whatever we propose.
Please let me know if you need any other details.

Hello friend, as per my understanding of your query:
You have a web application developed in ASP.NET which allows user to create tables. The activity is time consuming as user has to write the CREATE TABLE statements manually. Now you want to provide feature to create table just like we create table in SQL Server.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok, so you can write something like,
Rstring = Replace(Rstring, "<span>Hello</span>", "Hi")
In this case, I've written HTML tag instead of plain text and this should also work. Are you facing any challenge while doing so?

Anup, apart from the issue you are facing, there are some other issues with your code.
As a best practice one should not write functionality within an event. In other words, you should write a separate function with the functionality and call that function from any event (SelectedIndexChanged in this case).
You should not form SQL by concatenating parameters which leads SQL Injection problem. Always use SqlParameter object to add parameters.

Hi Sandip, May I ask if you are a student? The intention behind my question is that if you're a student and you need to build a project with the functionality, then using any third-party library would not be an ideal solution. You have to write a parser logic which will read the string and calculate the output.

Ok. So if you consider Folder structure is nothing but a Tree structure where root node is the top level (n) folder. From root, you have to traverse to it's child node (i.e. n-1 level) and get all the files. Then you have to move to it's child node (i.e n-2 level) to get the files and so on...
I tried to provide a logical solution as I have never tried such problem. Please let us know if you face any challenges to implement it.

Hi,
Let's not jump directly into the actual problem. First try with a simple POC where you can achieve cells merging functionality. Once you are successful, you'll feel more confident and you can implement the same logic into your real program.
Please note the code I shared is not going to solve your problem 100%. It's just a direction and then you have to tweak as per your requirement. :)
