Lack of information and clarity.

So what you are saying is that the source code has to be shipped to the customer wherein at some time later when there is a need, it can be compiled on the fly there itself rather than shipping from the vendor again? Perhaps like SP!

Have updated the Regex code part, please take a look if its correct. Just for the readability sake i updated it because earlier html tags got mixed up in between the code.

Have not done a perf mon on both of the solutions, but finding a process name is more costly than mutex way, i think.

If your deleting all of the browser session history, then its a problem. Assume i have opened few tab pages and upon closing this tab page and it clears all other tap pages history then its a problem right?

Yes, For your kind info, this tip isnt any attempt to replace the exact IS operator. Infact i just tried 2 see how basic IS operator can be simulated and not implement every feature it does in c#.

Plus, internally it takes object and a type and converts objects to type 2 compare. Yes as johannes guy pointed out i am not taking inheritance into picture here.

FYI, this isnt a replacement for IS nor a FULL implementation either. Hope you understand.
