what i have is a C# windows form application server that is listen to specific port and clients connect to the server and send files to it and the server accept the files and save them

what i want i want to run the server in my home and access it from any place to can send files to it

my computer home has a static ip

i have server i wrote it in c#

i want to publish it to can access it through any computer over internet

please tell me how to publish wcf using IIS and how to access it remotely

i have just read the first article before you sent it but at first the code didnot work with me i have an error, this error appear when the login page appear and text is written " you can close this page now"

i did it and solve the problem

when i used hyperterminal it receive all data sent to it and work fine

so the problem in the server do not wait to receive all things sent to it

can you tell me first how to send a string using hyper terminal to a server

i connected to the server by hyperterminal but i tried to write some thing to send it send when i press the first character only

i tried my server by c# client and it worked well

when i used Hyper terminal it work well

hyper terminal receive all the sent data

what is the problem now ?

it is not GPRS modem

it is LAN modem on this machine it is called EZ-TCP external lan

i am sure the machine modem send all data because when i debug the server and wait on receive for the machine to send all data then call receive i receive all the data

the only problem in all this that i want to modify the Customer informatiom dialog itself

i am sure that i use the right COM

when i connect the lan cable to the terminal i get responce with the same command and when i disconnect it the program of the terminal time out and receive nothing is it not mean i use the right COM?

i tried ATE0V1 and ATZ but all of them received again

i found an example for HTTP POST i will try to convert it into string and send it to tcp and show you what is the result

no it was from long time

the Command that i used to disable echo is ATE0\r\n

as i think when echo is enable the modem send back my sent command again then send its response right?

i tried to receive data after receive the command but it timed out and receive nothing so it only receive the same response

i have a handheld terminal called Bitel IC3100

this terminal have RS232 that connected by EZTCP modem (lan modem) inside it

i want to configure this modem to connect to lan and send data over TCP

to do this i want to send AT COMMANDs to COM1 for RS232 in the terminal using C code and library for this terminal and the EZTCP will read it and answer me with ok , no carrier , busy or error

when i tried this i sent a command and when trying to receive data i received the same command

at first i thought it is echo from the modem

i sent a command to disable echo and i also received the same commands i sent every time

i contact to the manufacturer of the terminal and he sent me a code that i found that it is like my code and it had the same result (receive what i send)

some one told me that the terminal's RS232 may be configured as LOOPBACK by default

i think itis wrong because when i do not put the lan wire on the terminal and try my code , i receive nothing and time out and if i connected it i receive the same command i sent.

but i am trying walking in this way and i am trying to find a way to disable the LOOPBACK in RS232 if it is enabled by default

some one told me before that there is a function that can be used to Enable the loop back for rs232 so it can work in LOOPBACK mode without make it physically by wires

i want this function to use it in the program

i searched but not found solution for my problem

i searched like this but i have two problems

the simple codes i found is very simple

as i think and did before communicating with rs232 need to check for bits in registers to know if data received or all data is sent and so on

in these codes i never found something like this

the second problem is i can not found a solution for my master problem is that how to disable/enable the loopback of rs232 programability

outlook said it can not connect to the pop3 server

i found the post samples that is used to call webservice
it appears too in the page of the webservice functions page when i run it in below if the html opened page

but my question is how to send this post over tcp port

will i send it to port 80 as it is the default html port or to the port of the webservice that appears in its link?

and how i convert it to bytes to send over tcp"?
