sorry there was problem with internet.thankyou. but this is not the logic i am using. I am using OLEDB object to make a connection with Excel file and then read it.any other possible solution?

i cant understand completely that what is the problem you are facing. can you please elaborate. because the link i referred to gives the complete demonstration on how to use the autocomplete extender.On the link i provided you there is code at the end of the page.simply put that code in the body of document where you want to place it and set the appropriate controls in the properties according to your page.and dont forget to add a script manager as well.
