Reason for my vote of 2 \n This isn't a tip or an article. More like a promotion. And getting the server-side source shouldn't require contacting the author. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable shipping exceptions out of my company network. I'd probably get in trouble as it would be an audit/compliance issue.

Though, if you would like to provide more content on "How to use exceptions to your advantage", I'd be happy to change my rating.
