The whole fun is to kill the bad guys, if the bad guys kill each other what fun is that. Are you going to keep track on the dead bodies of the bad guys.
Half the fun is looting the bad guys you just killed. I am not going to mention walls or (locked) doors, oops my bad.
i would keep the bad guys in a idle mode until the good guys get near or attack them.
good luck

i googled it and found this.
The CAN BUS analyzer tool can be interfaced with PIC32MX1/2/5 Starter kit (DM320100) to develop and debug CAN BUS Network.

there is no string type in c.
the string.h gives you functions to do string manipulations.
strings are really char arrays.

if you google autocad dwg file layout you will find a file layout of the file.
at first look it looks like a project in it self just to read this file.
Also it looks like its proprietary to autocad and the layout is by a 3 party and might not be up to date.

this is not how you index into an array.
i would use a switch statement based of of selectedlang and make lang equal to the selected language you want to use. lang = language0[index] for example.

Different plugins can do different things and can be updated.

you might have to deal with on time login/logouts.
at one site per union agreements with management there was a 5 min window on login and logout. ie if you logged in at 7:55 to 8:05 you were still on time as if you logged in at 8;00, and if you logged out at 4:55 to 5:05 you still logged out at 5:00. This was because it took a while for 100+ people to logout/in at the beginning/ending of the day.
the master file was imported sometime after beginning of 1st shift for the previous days data into a update file which was imported after review into payroll. Yes, this got complicated fast. This used plastic id cards that had the employees id info barcoded on the back.
oh, by the way you are going to have to figure out how to handle employees that forget there rfid fobs, or worse loose them.
Yes you are going to have to create a file of valid rfid fobs and there owners.
good luck this gets complicated fast.

if the rfid tag number is not in the file he is logging in.
if the rfid tag number is in the file he is logging out.
write to the master file something like this
rfid tag nnnnn logged in at xxx and logged out at yyy
your going to have to deal with people who forget to login/off.

i generally leave the syslog alone a make it just for system problems.
i create a general log file that has what i need in it to track my system.
i always include exceptions when they mean something.
i create audit files when i find a problem and i want a lot of data to track problems. These audit files mostly have a short life. The general log file lasts as little as one day to a week depending on how much logging goes into it.
The problem with log files is the amount of data that you have to wade through.
Its the old looking at the forest and not the trees you are overwhelmed.
so only put into your log files what you need. yeah i know it sounds simpler than it is.
Since you have more than one server to look at i would gather up the log files and email them to a central pc.
I would also look at log aggregators. Programs that allow you to sift through you log files looking for key messages. Sort of separating the wheat from the chaff.
just a few thoughts.

i don't know about your library but mine has more than just books to offer.
CD's, books on tape, ...
and some books must be marked as reference books and not be able to be checked out, but still must be in the system.

i would just use the open command to open the device, and then use the read command to get the data. I don't see the createfile command as a good fit.
You will have to find out the format of the data coming from the device and parse it into something you can use. Start small by just printing the data to the screen and see what you get and go from there.
Good luck

no there is no magic way to determine through code the baud rate, parity or stop bits. You either put a terminal on the unit and change the settings until you get good data, or you put a scope on it and figure out the timing.

a popup is temporary and when its gone you will have no history.
email can be collected and made into a report (management likes this sort of stuff)

a int is one byte, a long is two bytes
so your cast from a long to a byte is only giving you half of the value.

Put a couple of breakpoints in the code and step through it to find where the error occurs.
I suspect its in the File.ReadAllLines.
Something in the path has illegal characters.
ps the arrayList should be a List<t> as arraylist is not supposed to be used anymore.

first of all 9600 baud is real slow. if you are on a real fast computer the device you are talking to might not have time to handle the first message before you hand it the second message. If you are clicking the buttons real fast sending message after message to it.
You have a sleep between messages where it works. Try putting a few more sleeps in places. Its a trial and error thing.
Good Luck
