The best place to start is by writing your own RTF document editor, complete with toolbars, menus, image handling etc.

See here as an example; Word Processor Based Upon an Extended RichTextBox Control[^]

Then you could also do an imaging component like; Simple Image Editor with Crop and Resize while Maintaining Aspect Ratio[^]

The you would also need a spreadsheet, and something like powerpoint, and you could make these up by thinking about the basic needs and controls available to you, e.g. grid controls, panels etc. etc.

A lot to think about, so just start small!
