Either you have to go to your manager and admit that you don't know anything about those technologies and ask for some help and guidance or just admit that you blagged your way into a job for which you have not got the requisite skills and leave. Better to do something you like and are good at than struggle to do something for which you have no aptitude whatsoever.

Getting this project is not going to save your job. You're still not going to know how to do it. You cannot copy'n'paste your way out of this little problem.
You either know this stuff or you need to do a ton of research and teach yourself. Trying to get that knowledge from a project is not going to do it.

Off course i won't copy n paste the sample project just like that, i just want to find out how does it work between MVC 3, spring .net and nhibernate, after i understand, then i will make my own project.
i've been developed it since i posting this questions, and just get a little error that unsolved yet until now.
anyway..thanks for the response.

Do a search on the internet - you will find some samples that will help you get started.
However, giving the sample to the boss is not going to help you - you will need to learn about what you actually did and why these tools are used.

How do I do focus on differnt radio boxes lists on client side
|
|
|
|
|
Can you please brief up little more..
If you are trying to check the radio box list using javascript, it can be done as:
for(var i = 0; i < radioLength; i++) {
radioObj[i].checked = false;
if(radioObj[i].value == newValue.toString()) {
radioObj[i].checked = true;
}
where add all the radio button objects to radioobj object.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
My web application has built in .Net 2.0 using Visual Studio 2008. I have this application running in different client sites for different server configurations successfully including windows 2008 R2 server.
At the moment I am trying to install my application in Windows Server 2003 R2, via IIS 6.0 web server. When I try to access the application, I can see the Login page and if I enter the login credentials the application authenticate and authorise the user and taking the user to the next screen. But this screen is displaying no controls but blank page with just the menu items at the left hand side. This page is actually using Master page. All pages within the application use Master page except the Login page. So I suspect the problem is with rendering the master page?
I somehow managed to navigate to the other pages via the menu but none of the pages display the content (not even labels..) but some time I can see one or two drop down boxes. It doesnt make any sense to me.
This machine already has .Net 2.0 framework and Ajaxtool kit installed. Other .Net 2.0 applications on the same server works fine for this configuration.
can anyone help me understand what is going on here? I appreciate any help on this matter.
Thanks
Renu

Hi,
Finally I figured the cause of the above problem myself.
The problem was not loading pages with the Master page, since I can see the menu that is also part of the master page I figured it out that the problem was displaying part of the master page content.
part of the contents where placed within the div control and that was missing the runat="server". Added this on the <div> control and eveything works fine.
Still I do not understand this is the IE version issue or any other server configuration issues. Other client sites all working fine without this change.
I hope this is useful to someone looking for answet to this type of issue.
Cheers
Renu

Hi
I am using following html code to display menu.
<ul id="coolMenu">
<li><a href="#">Master</a>
<ul class="noJS">
<li><a href="a.aspx">Category</a></li>
<li><a href="b.aspx">Subjects</a></li>
<li><a href="c.aspx">Book Register</a></li>
<li><a href="d.aspx">Staff Profile</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<a href="#">Transaction</a>
<ul class="noJS">
<li><a href="Issues.aspx">Issues</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="#">Reports</a>
<ul class="noJS">
<li><a href="e.aspx">Bookswise Report</a></li>
<li><a href="f.aspx">Stock Report</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="#">Utilities</a>
<ul class="noJS">
<li><a href="SignUp.aspx">User SignUp</a></li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><a href="Logout.aspx">Logout</a></li>
</ul>
But i want to disable or enable the menu or child menu based on user level condition. How to do this. If anybody knows, please reply me. for ex: if user 2 means i have disable master & Utilities, if user is 1 means i have to enable all menus

One way to do this would be from code behind. The first thing you would need to do is to make the menu options into server controls. Either replace with, for instance, asp:Hyperlink or add ID="unique_name_for_control" and runat="server" to each link and then, from the OnLoad event determine the user rights and then apply ass appropriate to each menu item. For instance, if User1 can see item 1 but not item 2 you might have code like:
bool canSeeItems = GetUserRights("this_user");
item1.Visible = canSeeItems;
item2.Visible != canSeeItems;
Very simplistic but you can expand from this.

Hi
I placed crystal report within scroll bar but it is exceeding outside master page and not fit to scroll bar. How to fit Crystal Report within scrollbar, so that i can scroll and will be fit to that. So it should not exceed the masterpage. If anybody knows please reply.

Pretty sure that is incomplete statement of the problem since "crystal report" in that context means nothing.
A crystal report is something that runs which produces output. Output like html or word doc or excel.
Since you are referring to display and not running, what you have probably has nothing to do with crystal report. Or it might have something to do with how you are telling it to run but you didn't provide that info either.

I believe you are talking about the Report Viewer control for ASP.NET. When you ask a question, make sure you put in as much information possible and make it unambiguous.
Anyway, here's a solution.
Put your report viewer control inside a DIV tag, give the DIV tag a fixed width and height and set it's overflow' style to auto.
<div style='width:600px;height:300px;overflow:auto'>
<!--
</div>

A brief google search turns up absolutely nothing about "a3 token".
Could you provide a reference that mentions it at all?

Hello this is Saad Bhutto
from the last few days I am stuck at the roblem og Uploading
as the .Net Uploader doesnot take more than 4MB soo,we can also Change this by changing in Web.config and increase the HTTP request length. i have done this but it doesn't upload more then 8MB even I have aslo given the Length to 16MB

I think you need to provide more detail.
Describe the flow of your system. What server are you using? How exactly do you test such that you know what the limit is?
|
|
|
|
|
You must give us more details about your problem. What is the exact error message you are getting?
I hope you made the changes in your web.config in this tag:
<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="8192" />
|
|
|
|
|
Well, it's depend on bandwidth of server and speed.
but you can try below code in web.config file, i hope which will resolve your problem.
it's work for me more than 50 MB file.
<httpRuntime executionTimeout="999999" maxRequestLength="2097151" />
this should be before completion of system.web section.

No it doesn't. That impacts how fast one can download any specific amount. It doesn't set a maximum.

Say, the dimension of the image is (1024 px X 768 px) and it has the text "Hello" with "H" at point (150,200) I need to find that (150,200).
Can anyone help me doing this ?

Where exactly do you imagine that point 150, 200 would be?
