How Can i View A Table Content in a Mobile web Page Like GridView in WebSite?
|
|
|
|
|
You can do it in a same way. But it would be better if you can go through the basic of developing web pages in asp.net (for mobile devices).

Which language are you using? .NET? PHP? PERL? ASP? Java? Python? Other?
With a bit more information on what you are actually using, would boost the chances of you receiving a reply.

Try this:
Request.QueryString["objectName"]
or
Request.QueryString("objectName")
Depending on the version of ASP you are making use of. Let me know if you still have any issues.

thanks cyber-drugs,
the form action is set to post not get, so i have used request.form("objectname") and that works for all my textboxes etc but doesnt work for my datepicker controls and also my textarea control.
The code loops through the controls and adds there names and values to a table to be emailed. It recognised all the control names but no values for the controls mentioned above.
thanks for your help again

I really should change my username...
Anyway Dee, unfortunately I took presumption that you were making use of ASP.NET, and not classic ASP (request.querystring retrieves both POST and GET in .NET, just to make things easier).
Would you be able to post your HTML code, so I can try it out quickly, and in return I will give you my findings.

I am really hoping someone has good news on this because it will make my life way easier.
i am writing a function in Watir for checking elements on a page to see if they are there. i am wondering if Watir has a way to "get type" on an element. So say I am passing "browser.image(:src,/happy.gif/)" to the def, is there a way to look at it and say "that is an img", or "that isnt a radio"?
Edit:
The answer is "yes"
use .class, so "puts browser.image(:src,/happy.gif/).class"
writes "Watir::Image"
Good stuff

Hi, I have a small application communicating with a server on local host. Lately it appears another application is using same port as mine and I would like to query this server to be able to identify it.
So I would like to know if there is a way to get a server name, or application, with Winsosk ?
Thanks,
*Sorry to bother*
I got the answer another way, so I don't need the answer anymore. Still, I would be interested to do it programmatically. This is the kind of tricks that can be needed again.

If you're so experienced in the Internet, surely you must know that this forum is an inappropriatre place to post your ad spam. Or you do koow and don't care. So, you're either ignorant or rude. In either case, a good reason for everyone to stay away from you.

Hi,
I've incorporated a free javascript menu offered by TIGRA in my website, and it looks OK in my Windows XP system in both Firefox and IE, but when I load it to the server, the menu is gone (though it loads the frame).
I've uploaded a zip with the files for the menu at:
http://rapidshare.com/files/159229839/FINDING-THE-BUG.zip.html[^]
and the server URL where I uploaded it is:
http://www.academia-culture.info/[^]
Appreciate any suggestions.
All the best,

Check your FTP settings. It looks like you have got your line breaks wrong when you uploaded it, placing the entire script in a single line. As the first line is a comment, the entire script becomes a comment.

How can I capture the http headers sent by the browser (preferably in C#)?
I have access to the Ax/WebBrowser object and its beforeNavigate2Event/NavigateComplete2Event events, but don't see the header value or know how to extract it if that is the place to do so...
|
|
|
|
|
|
Ah thanks... I have access to the WebBrowser object, but am not making the WebRequests directly.
I see a headers field in the BeforeNavigate2Event, but it's null.

Hi all,
I want to get AJAX DHTML controls and be able to customize them without having to buy the source code.
Can you recommend any vendor that allows that?
thank you
|
|
|
|
|
What type of controls are you looking for? I haven't seen many projects that offer a large selection of free DHTML controls, but I've seen some free DHTML control projects specialised on one control, such as rich edit controls.
