When you came previously ?

I think you can use any of the following
int.parse (string)
convert.toint(string)

when user type http://www.website.com/iamdking, the webser will search for default pages (ex: index.html,default.html,...) and this can be set in the webserver. As ur need, just put your default page there, and do redirect to profile.aspx

I think you need to work with ASP.NET HTTP pipeline. Try for IHTTPHandler interface.

You can write the dataset to one XML file. In crystal reports add this XML file and map relevant fields you want. In page set dataset as the datasource for crystalreport.

Hi guys
I am able to run my websites program from my local system through, which I am able to upload the datas into my webhost database. But when I run the same files in my webhost's server it threws a runtime error.
Error:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customerrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customerrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
When I give the defaultRedirect as an html page it is redirecting but the for the aspx files it threws the error.
If anybody has suggestions Please reply
Thanks
jith

defaultRedirect is an optional attribute. You can remove it from that tag...

Can anyone help me plz.I am trying to do UrlMapping for my project the Problem I am facing is that if I give a Url with query string eg: href="www.abc.com/myfolder/mudocuments/abc.aspx?id=1&cat= how do I convert it to href="www.abc.com/myfolder/mudocuments/abc.aspx/id/1/cat//
Plz note that if a query string is empty it should convert it to '/'(eg:cat see the difference above) and how do I retrieve the parameters in the querystring passed on the redirected page. Please help me if anyone has tried this send me ur code I would really appreciate it.
