So - let me see if I've got this straight. You have Sql Server installed, and you are using trusted connections. You've set SQL Server up to accept incoming connections and you've rolled it out. I have to wonder if the problem has to do with the database server not being able to identify users as trusted users. Are you running the database on the same domain as the users?

Hi Pete,
i don't wish make you wonder
Pete say :
Are you running the database on the same domain as the users?
DO you mean if i changed the database on a different computer where i develop the project so doing the connection string is wrong?
I have the database on my laptop in the file app.config of the project i insert the string connection of the database SqlServer and when i create the file.exe with CLickOnce i choose the option n. 3 From a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM .
I will give you more details to make you understand better i have Vista and i turn off the option User Account Control UAC....the firewall is okay as using trusted connection
Ask me maybe i forget to tell you some detail..
Thanks!!!

I will continue to work out this feature if you have some idea let me know,

Try using a better subject line, as you can see your just being ignored with "error"
only two letters away from being an asset

WHAT "says" that?
Is this just your own Silverlight apps or any Silverlight apps?

There is a consumer version and a development version of Silverlight.
Make sure you have the latest versions.

I think you haven't installed "Silverlight 2 Tool for Visual Studio". Actually, you should get this error when you open the Silverlight project. Not when you run.

What do people recommend for synchronizing to SQL Server 2005 databases.
My application is WPF, C#. both databases are SQL Express 2005, and I use LINQ in code for most of the access (with the odd stored proc when I wanted to go "old school").
The problem is that I need to create a template for a new customer database. When a new customer is created the default values from the database get inserted into a local SQL Express Database, adding a customer Id as a composite key to some customer specific tables. The schema of both databases is the same apart from the additional customerID fields in the target.
One option is to script the inserts; and store the scripts as embedded resources in a setup project. I find that a bit of a hassle for maintenance.
From a maintenance perspective I prefer keeping a template mdf file in a zip, uncompressing, connecting, and importing the data at run time.
So what is the best way to do it? Do I use Linq? or just iterate through all of the tables and copy row by row? Or is there a better way?
THanks.
