I wanna to get this in my C# project.
So Please Help or Give correct solution .
Thanks

Take document as string
Use regex to remove all numbers and punctuation
Split on CRLF for paragraphs, Split on space for word count
That would be my first attempt, and then I would be asking questions on any problems I had. So, maybe you should go and implement that and see if it gets you what you want, then come back and ask specific questions.

Why not just ask someone to write this for you? A big part of being a developer is to know where to find knowledge and learning how to do it yourself.

I agree with you
I just found enough examples how to archive it and I sent him/her link in my previous post.

Record a macro that gets the word count using Tools -> WordCount
and transform that to C#.
Easy
That's if you're OK with interop.

You can use the Word API. If you open a Word Document using the API, the DocumentClass has a property called "Words". This returns a Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Words class that has a count property.
See this page: Microsoft Office Development.[^]
Choose the version that you're working with and read up on the API. You can retrieve that information very easily using it.

Holy crap Batman! I do believe you are correct! We had best leap into action and try and save his ass!
Do you think he can wait until tomorrow, 'cause I'm off home soon...

You're not quite getting the gist of this Holy 'X' Batman thing. I think you may have been after something more like:
Holy test papers Batman!
or maybe
Holy exam timetables Batman!
or even
Holy flimflam Batman!

Here you go. Pass the test, join the experts.
for(int y=0; y<photo.Height; y++) {
for(int x=0; x<photo.Width; x++) {
Color color=x==y?Color.IamLazy:Color.IamIdiot;
MessageBox.Show("color="+color.ToString());
}
}

I'm not sure. He may not notice my solution when he gets distracted by CG providing an appropriate answer here[^].

the main problem is:
DataGridViewCellButton will flick when cklicked
what should i do in order to prevent this problem!
bay the way at the end of pain() method it will call
ButtonRenderer.DrawButton(graphics, buttonArea, buttonImage, imageArea, false, PushButtonState.Normal);

Hi, I'm new to C# and I'm having some trouble with bit manipulation.
I have Two bytes. The first thing i want to do is to shift the data in one of the bytes four places normally i would do it like this.
byte1 = 00001111
byte1 = byte1 << 4
byte1 = 11110000
however, this seems to work only for integers?
once i have shifted the data i would like to add them together like this.
byte 1 = 11110000
byte 2 = 00001111
bytes added together = 11111111
What is the best way of doing this?
Thank you.

Either post this as a QA or in a programming forum - but not both. Otherwise it may get answered by different people, who will get annoyed when they find they are duplicating effort.

I think what you are encountering is the error that there is no implicit cast from an int to a byte. That's because after any such operation like addition or shift etc "small types" are turned into an int. That's not so bad, though, as you can just cast it back to a byte.
For example:
byte b1 = 15;
byte b2 = (byte)(b1 << 4);
byte b3 = (byte)(b1 | b2);
|
|
|
|
|
It works, but .net insists on up-casting byte and short operations to int ; you need to cast back to byte:
byte a = 15 ;
a = (byte) ( a << 4 ) ;

Near the top right of the page is a link that may say 'Show Viewed' you might want to click that. I think the default is that once you have viewed a question in QA you will not see it in the list again. Seems a little stupid to me but, there it is.
