Read this[^] and update your question.
From what I gather, I think you need to rethink your strategy. .Net can hold up objects in memory up to two GB I believe, if that's not enough for a puzzle 8 problem you're really, really going into the wrong direction.

You might want to ask this in the correct forum
Asp.NET forum[^]
and a bit more explanation about what you want to do might be needed.
Also is this regular ASP.NET or MVC?

Ehr.. that'll be hard, and with you reposting your question in a few minutes, I'm not very inclined to help.
What did you try? I'd like to assume that you have basic C# knowledge, but your question does not confirm that. Have you searched our tutorials? Google? Tried to draw a line on a picture?

Too complex to start with as a first project. I strongly suggest you start with chapter 1 of a good book. I'm not going to provide personal education on the project of your choosing.

Do not repost: it's rude and won't get you any more help.

1. Read in a frame as an image
2. Draw line on image
3. Write image back to frame
4. If more frames, repeat from 1.

If this is your first project, you really shouldn't be attempting something like this. What I have described is hard to do properly and will not fit into a single forum answer. You are going to have to implement threading so that you don't block things while you do the read/draw/write operation. You have to understand how to work with video. Assuming this is in realtime, you need to understand DirectDraw.
And no, I don't just hand over code. If you search in Google, you might find an implementation, but given your inexperience, I don't think you'll understand it.
Pick an easier topic to start your C# programming career with. If you don't, I suspect you will become disheartened and that would be a shame.

Console.WriteLine("Hello world");
If you need more code, I suggest you learn to WRITE it, or HIRE someone who can. No-one is going to write your work, based on your wishes, "just for the fun of it".

Please read How to get an answer to your question [^] Specifically item 1. Also, in general, it helps to add what you have tried and what is going wrong, otherwise people here will assume you just want the code written for you. If you are having problems getting started, say so though a quick Google search[^] has at least two results that should get you started, so I doubt that is the case here.

Hi,
I wish to start and run an application automatically.
I can create a task in Task Scheduler (It's still called this in Vista, don't know about windows nt, 7 or 8) to start the application daily at a specific time. No problem.
However, I actually want the app to perform some functions.
I'm thinking that passing some command line parameter through to the app when it starts through the task I've set up but a) I'm not sure how to do that
in Task Sceduler and b) hot sure what code I need to include in the application to pick up on the command line parameter.
I'm using c# 3.5 and viz stud 2008 and i guess it's a winform application at the mo too.
thanks
Mat

Picking up command line parameters works the same for all; you have a main-method, and if correct, it'll have an array of string that hold the params.
Take a look at the example here[^].

Hey thanks,
command line args 101...it's just been ages since I've had to use them. Task scheduler also has a property for adding the command line arg as well..so job done, cheers
