Gee - here's a piece of homework we've never seen posted before.
You've posted the description of hte towers of hanoi. You seem not to be asking for help, but a solution. You need to do your own homework. When you have code that doesn't quite work, feel free to post it and ask specific questions. Until then, the best help we can give you, is encourage you that the purpose of your homework is for you to learn, not for you to get the answer from the web.
But, I'd be happy to write it for you, for $200 an hour. That's the sort of contracting rate you will never attract in your life, if you don't do your own homework.

Hi,
I can confirm 18,433 transfers is correct minimum for 64 discs.
You can solve all such problems with a little program (below 50 lines of code).

Have a column called Flag along with userName and passWord.
Whenever the user enters a wrong password, increment the Flag by one
and check if this value exceeds a threshold.If it exceeds, never permit to login.
Make sure to reset it to ZERO when the user enters right password.

You also might want to have a timer to reset the login, or some other method to reset the users password, so the user isn't permanently locked out.

Typically deploying a distributed app causes a client application to be installed locally on each user's machine. The client programmatically connects to the server application. If you want to install a shortcut that simply points to an app on the server, you can use a UNC path in the shortcut's target.
\\server\share\directory\filename.exe /ravi

I don't think you can do it using the framework by itself. You'll have to look at PInvoke. 5 seconds of googling turned up this[^]

How do I go about removing existing handlers from an event delegate? I have a Repeater (Web) control that I bind to different GridManager objects. The GridManager provides a handler for the repeater’s ItemDataBound event, but when I bind one GridManager to it I want to remove any existing handlers from any other grid managers.
I would like to do something like:
Repeater.ItemDataBound.Clear();
Repeater.ItemDataBound += new RepeaterItemEventHandler(detailRepeater_ItemDataBound);

Instead of adding Event handler like this,
have a function that accepts the object
"new RepeaterItemEventHandler(detailRepeater_ItemDataBound)".
In the function do the following steps:
1.Add the object to the Repeater control.
2.Also assign it to the variable eve(RepeaterItemEventHandler eve)
which must be a member of the class.
Before step 1 check if eve is not null.If it is not null, remove the
existing handler by,
Repeater.ItemDataBound -= eve.

Hi.
i write a net program and need to know which computers are connected to my computer by their ip.
I run a tcp port in some computer and my goal is finding them but first need to get all ip in my network.
first i start with getting my ip summask and with a loop check all ip from 1 to 255 but this is too slow so want a command like "net view" for getting all available ip and only test them.
Your help may be Great

I do not know about any network related classes.Hope U will get
good solution from any other member.
But If U did not find the solution do this:
using Process.Start to execute the net.exe file
with "view" as argument.
Redirect the output of the command to a string
and from that find patterns for the IP address.

Hi everyone,
I have a class called Request and a whole bunch of inherited classes,
for example RequestEntity. And I have a WebMethod Execute which takes
the Request class as an argument:
public class Request {...}
public class RequestEntity:Request {...}
[WebMethod]
public void Execute(Request) {}
My goal would be, that I can pass any of the inherited classes to the
Execute WebMethod, which should work since they are inhereted from
Request.
But the Problem is that at the client side I just can see the Request
class and not the inherited ones like RequestEntity.
So my question is, if there is a way to force the webservice to supply
the client also with the definitions of all the inherited classes?
Thank you very much for your help!
Martin
