hello
A response file is basically a file that contains commands. Lets say you have 20 files to compile and you want to compile them all with the same commands. You would simply create a file with all these commands and when you compile your code you list the response file(shown below). The extension of a response file is *.rsp but you can most likely use any file name extension.
csc @<responcefile.rsp>

Yep it was fairly obvious that you are new to the forums, less than 1 month.
You may note that very few of the other messages here use text speak, that's because the few that did have all been abused into oblivion. You'll even get hassles for misplacing the odd ' so the trash you are using it totally unacceptable.

You're an idiot. You post a vague question and when somebody takes their time to try to pry a decent question from you, they get abuse.
Go away.

Do you guys ever read the other questions in the forum?
Never heard of a response file, I suspect it is a typo - resource file

My dear TJS4u/Sinol Jose,
three things:

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning. Programmer - an organism that turns coffee into software.

Ahhh, so you finally decided to share with everyone what you were talking about! Just saying "response file" could mean anything. It would have been better to put the links you posted into your first post so everyone could know which incarnation of "response file" you were talking about.

Hi,
I need to upload file in a folder at FTP server,i have already posted this but i need a coding guide not a software for this.
The code i used is,
txtfilurl.Text = FileUpload1.PostedFile.FileName;
FileInfo filename = new FileInfo(txtfilurl.Text);
FtpWebRequest request = (FtpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(txtaddr.Text + "/" + filename.Name);
request.Method = WebRequestMethods.Ftp.UploadFile;
request.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(txtuser.Text, txtpass.Text);
request.KeepAlive = false;
request.UseBinary = true;
Stream ftpstream = request.GetRequestStream();//--->This line shows the error
FileStream file = File.OpenRead(txtfilurl.Text);
int len = 1024;
byte[] buff = new byte[len];
int bytesread = 0;
do
{
bytesread = file.Read(buff, 0, len);
ftpstream.Write(buff, 0, bytesread);
}
while (bytesread != 0);
file.Close();
ftpstream.Close();
Error msg is:Web exception
The remote server returned an error: (550) File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access).
