I look for a memory leakage detector which will show me lines of leakages in my source code just like
"Runtime checker". Unfortunately its not free.

Also, for simple file/line-number info in the debug window (using the debug CRT) for leaks in
memory allocation, maybe check out this thread[^].

Hi all
In my activeX control I have certain texts whose fonts I need to change using CFontDialog.
I cannot change the font using stock font since I need to have different font for different texts.
How can I do this?
This is what i did.
I have a member of CFontHolder m_Font in my control. Then with SetFont and GetFont method am trying to change m_Font. But I dont know how to set a particular font to m_Font object. And then get the font from m_Font and select that to DC so that TextOut will be drawing text with that Font.
Any help would of great help.

For drawing bitmap on my created window I require to add file #include <windowsx.h> (For SelectBitmap). But after including this file I get an error like this.
I have also include "Windows.h",but if I remove it , I get an error about HINSTANCE.
I have my code in regular dll.Can anyone tell how to resolve it.

Hi all,
I got a big trouble in rotate algorithm in my project.
please see all pictures
As you see my first picture that I copied from my project. Note that, background picture mustn’t effect when I drag mouse, but grid lines have to be effected when I drag mouse around center point, so when I drag mouse, grid lines must go around center point until I stop drag and release mouse.
My trouble is when I drag mouse around center point (yellow triangle) and when angle reach greater than angle 90 (similar picture 2) then I can not reach angle 180 or greater, if I still keep drag mouse till angle 180 then yellow triangle turn back and point to number of about angle 340 (similar picture 3) so when angle greater than angle 90 I have to release mouse then drag mouse again => it’s not good.
Please tell me how to solve this trouble. Thank you so much.
I’m sorry, My English is not good!

Maybe posting the relevant code will help.

Thanks indeed,
I just asked for algorithm, because I want to study algorithm working with rotate image!
I want to learn algorithm that independent with code.
If you know which book can help about algorithms, please give me book's name

Spy++ view messages posted/sent to a control, or from it?
i noticed that there are "S", "P" codes when the messages are logged. Now what i wan to know is these messages are messages originating from that control, OR they are messages being received by that control.
if they are messages sent away, how do i see messages being sent to that control?
if they are messages sent to, how do i see messages being sent away from that control
if they are both, then how do i differentiate then? how to know which is which
how do i know the destination of the messages being sent?
please help a newb

HEre's an example:
<00001> 0001058C S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:510 yPos:756
<00002> 0001058C R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT
<00003> 0001058C S WM_SETCURSOR hwnd:0001058C nHittest:HTCLIENT wMouseMsg:WM_MOUSEMOVE
<00004> 00090564 S WM_SETCURSOR hwnd:0001058C nHittest:HTCLIENT wMouseMsg:WM_MOUSEMOVE
<00005> 00090564 R WM_SETCURSOR fHaltProcessing:False
<00006> 0001058C R WM_SETCURSOR fHaltProcessing:False
<00007> 0001058C P WM_MOUSEMOVE fwKeys:0000 xPos:252 yPos:377
On each line:
message #
receiving window handle
S/R/P - S: message sent via SendMessage (i.e. sender will wait until window has processed message), R: message completion (will always be paired with a S), P: message sent via PostMessage. Note in my example there is a nested pair of S/R - 3 and 6 are a start/stop and 4,5 are a nested sent message
decode message type
decoded message parameters
There is no way to tell who sent a P message nor the first of multiple S messages. When you see nested S messages, it is a good bet that the outer S message sent the message to the inner S window.
Spy++ does not track messages created by a window. It only tracks messages received by windows.

Hi, here
If I repeat load library in VC:
HMODULE handle0 = LoadLibrary(TEXT("testdll0.dll"));
HMODULE handle1 = LoadLibrary(TEXT("testdll0.dll"));
My program will load the two copies of the testd110.dll in memory? handle0 should be equal to handle1?
Thanks a lot!
