If you're so experienced in the Internet, surely you must know that this forum is an inappropriatre place to post your ad spam. Or you do koow and don't care. So, you're either ignorant or rude. In either case, a good reason for everyone to stay away from you.

Hi,
I've incorporated a free javascript menu offered by TIGRA in my website, and it looks OK in my Windows XP system in both Firefox and IE, but when I load it to the server, the menu is gone (though it loads the frame).
I've uploaded a zip with the files for the menu at:
http://rapidshare.com/files/159229839/FINDING-THE-BUG.zip.html[^]
and the server URL where I uploaded it is:
http://www.academia-culture.info/[^]
Appreciate any suggestions.
All the best,

Check your FTP settings. It looks like you have got your line breaks wrong when you uploaded it, placing the entire script in a single line. As the first line is a comment, the entire script becomes a comment.

How can I capture the http headers sent by the browser (preferably in C#)?
I have access to the Ax/WebBrowser object and its beforeNavigate2Event/NavigateComplete2Event events, but don't see the header value or know how to extract it if that is the place to do so...

|

Ah thanks... I have access to the WebBrowser object, but am not making the WebRequests directly.
I see a headers field in the BeforeNavigate2Event, but it's null.

Hi all,
I want to get AJAX DHTML controls and be able to customize them without having to buy the source code.
Can you recommend any vendor that allows that?
thank you
|
|
|
|
|
What type of controls are you looking for? I haven't seen many projects that offer a large selection of free DHTML controls, but I've seen some free DHTML control projects specialised on one control, such as rich edit controls.

You can use Visual WebGui platform.
It's an open source framework that gives you access to all the code and you can use it to create your own controls and customize their controls

Assuming you are talking about the image toolbar in IE, this might help.

Hi All,
I'm creating a iFrame in my aspx dynamically and adding it as the text of the literal.
like
literal.text="<iframe ......></iframe>";
and the source of the iframe is another aspx page where a PDF is shown as the
Response.contenttype. ie response.contenttype="application/pdf";
My problem is that the I'm able to adjust my iFrame width according to window size. I gave width="100%". But when i give the same for height its not turning up. By default im getting some fixed height which fills only quarter of the window height.
Please help me in finding a solution for this. i tried with several javascripts but nothing worked

For the iframe height to be 100% of the window, you have to make the height of the body element 100% of the window. Use this style:
html, body { height: 100% }

Hi All,
I installed subversion and Apache2.0
Made some changes in the httpd.conf file
The changes are I have added the 2 module files in the Modules folder
and loaded those files as
LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/mod_dav_svn.so
LoadModule authz_svn_module modules/mod_authz_svn.so
Then restarted the Apache server but unable to start that
Getting the error as "Unable to Load the LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/mod_dav_svn.so"
Can anyone help regarding this issue?
Thanks and Regards,
Shravanthi

Probably this modules is in the bin folder of the Subversion.
You have to copy them to:
C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\modules
And then restart apache.

Hi,
I am new to web apps. I have written a Windows Forms Drawing app in Visual Studio 2008 in C# in which you can draw resizable, rotateable, moveable objects (polygons, ellipses, images, RTF Text etc) on a background image which can be zoomed/panned, and make the object behave a certain way when clicked depending on properties which are set, including showing popup menus, opening images, opening filtered gridviews, flashing, moving to another object etc.
I am wondering what you thought would be the best way to get this ported to the web. Flash AS3? Silverlight? Something else?
Thanks
Andrew

hello,
I'm not a developer at all and I would like to create a fake interface like a google search as a prop for a movie. The actor need to enter a keyword in a text box and then hit enter and it opens a new page I can define. All files are in local and I only can use java and html.
I have this for the moment, when I click the button, it does what I want, but the director wants the actor push the enter key to search the word.
<input name="q" type="text" size="40" />
<input type=button onClick="location.href='index1.html'" value='search'>
<INPUT type = text onKeyPress = "alert('Key pressed')">
Any idea ? Thanks a lot for your precious help !

Hi,
you could try the following:
<input name="q" type="text" size="40" onKeyDown="if(event.keyCode == 13) document.myform.submit();" />
Be sure that your form is named 'myform' (name='myform' in the form tag).
Hope this hepls.

thanks a lot...
now the problem is that it submits the content of the search box... adding "?q=xcb" to the browser's url
is it possible to override this and force to load a specified link ?
thank you for your great help...
|
|
|
|
|
Yep, it is possible, just replace the document.myform.submit(); with
window.location.href="http://www.codeproject.com";
That will change the url of the current window.
