Your post doesn't actually make sense, but I *think* you're saying you're using a master page and the page isn't loading ? That means you have errors in your page.

Hi I have a xml file like,
"
Books
Book ID="001"
Author Mark /Author
Publisher Sams /Publisher
/Book
Book ID="002"
Author Joe /Author
Publisher AWL /Publisher
/Book
Book ID="003"
Author James /Author
Publisher Spect /Publisher
/Book
Book ID="004"
Author Thomos /Author
Publisher McHill /Publisher
/Book
/Books
"
My form has Three Text boxes to display BookId,Author and Publisher and
also four Buttons with names First, Next, Previous and Last resp.
Now what my question is I want to get the data from xml file and display in textboxes for the respective button events without using any dataset by using Xml Objects.
It may be looks simple for someone, I'm new to XML
Thanks
Hari

The easiest way to do this would be to load the Xml into an XmlDocument, use SelectNodes to get a collection of nodes that represent each book, and then build the buttons from there. An intermediate class that represents a book may be useful, too.

Hello,
I am working on asp.net page which has 2 user controls:
control1 has a textbox and a public string property
control2 has a button and a literal.
Here is was I am trying to achieve through delegates:
If user enters a text in the textbox of user control1 and clicks a button from user control2. the literal in usercontrol2 should display the value of the textbox.
My issue: Unable to invoke the the private/protected method of usercontrol1 from aspx through delegate. Please note everything is to be achieved by delegates.
Possibly suggest me with a way out.
Thank you i advance.

The delegates need to be public and they can be called from the private methods. You should be assigning your delegate to call a method in the class that is making the assignment, so private/protected will be fine.

You can't read a local file on the client machine using javascript. That would be insecure.
