Except that it won't be called TextBox1 on the client side, of course.
Wouldn't you also need innerText or something to get the value and not the whole attribute ?

It might be, assuming its not within an INamingContainer... but you're right chances are it wont be.

No, that JS returns the content of the attribute. erm... i think. Without testing it.

It would help then, if she used TextBox1.Attributes.Add("visible1", TextBox1.Visible.ToString()); to actually add the attribute. Uggghhh - TextBox1; I hate default names.
Then, this could be read by document.getElementById("TextBox1").attributes["visible1"];

Sonia Gupta wrote: is there any problem?
Problem 1 - you're still using ridiculous variable names. Textbox1 ???
Problem 2 - you're still asking half questions that leave the impression that you've not read your book at all, and remain unwilling to work stuff out for yourself
Problem 3 - what on earth do you want to set such a property for anyhow ? If the server side visibile property is false, the control is not rendered at all.
Problem 4 - you have not told us what is happening - do you see an alert with nothing in it, with the wrong value, or do you get a crash ? If it crashes, what's the error ? For starters you should NEVER call getElementById and assume you got something other than null back, you should check.

I had implemented a code in the Image (Captcha).
In that, I need to show the Upper case letters in different font sizes(bigger/smaller).
Can it be possible to increase or decrease the size of the font in the image...

Yes, of course. Just generate different fonts to draw the text on the image, at different sizes.

Is there any way to find the size of the file before saving it.

var oas = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");
var d = document.a.b.value;

I am using C# DLL in ASP.NEt Web Application, I am using the object tag to communicate through DLL
<object id="aDLLt" classid="abc.efg.ijkl.MyDLL" height="4" width="4">
This application runs on many clients but on some clients machine it shows a run time JavaScript Error "Object doesn't support this property or method"
on function calling.
I know this is not better way to use DLL, What is the better way to use DLL's in ASP.NET Application, More this DLL are placed in the root folder of the website rather /BIN folder.
Suggestion and help would be appreciated.
Thanks n Regards

What this DLL contains ? I don't think that you need a object tag to communicate. How about adding a reference to this DLL ?
|
|
|
|
|
This DLL contains all our business logic and database communications.
One more thing this application is not built using Visual Studion 2005.
this was built using Dreamweaver, and I am going to convert in Visual Studio 2005.
You are right .. we can use reference but this DLL have separate project(not the part of web application) and I only use its Assembled form in our web application.
I Hope you now understand.
Thanks for your reply

I want to refresh a page in ASP.Net automatically. What is the command ?
|
|
|
|

you have to write a javascript function that automatically refreshes page after sometime.
setTimeout("window.location.reload ()",5000);

Hi ...
You can use also this <meta> HTML tag (refreshing for 10 seconds)
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10;url=http://www.president.ac.id" />
Replace content=10 with the second that you like.

Actually it is refreshing continuously for every 10 seconds. I want to refresh once before i close the page.
