In this article, we’ll discuss some aspects of developing a facial recognition system from scratch.

Here we state the task of developing an AI face recognition system from scratch and suggest some practical examples when it would be a better solution. Then we give base stages and provide references to the resources on how to develop main ingredients of the system: detection and recognition neural networks. Finally, we give some thoughts on how to improve some parts of the system and summarize the series.
