Hi,

I asked is there any way to print the documents without opening them. print attribute in ShellExecute() do it for you but If we are printing Microsoft Office documents then it first open the particular application and then issue the command to print the document. Can we make all this procedure automatic so that there is a silent procedure to print the documents without popping up windows for different messages.

Thanks in advance.

No. There is no way to print a document that is not loaded. Printing a Word document is done by Word. If Word does not have the document open, it cannot print it. You can perhaps tell Word to not show it's window while it does it ( I do not know if you can ), but you can't stop it appearing on the taskbar, and running in general.
