I'm gonna to design an small game so that users move on the images like Google earth flight mode. The location imported continuously from a GPS device, and related image of its location shown in approximately real-time. What resource and format do you suggest? and what technique do you recommend to save,manipulate and represent the images?

Sounds like a tricky project, but interesting. :)

Have a look into what techniques / formats you think might work, then when you get stuck come back with a specific question.
