PHP code need to shutdown virtual machine system

I need to put my windows 7 in virtual machine into sleep mode, shutdown and wakeup mode using php script.. is there any chances to do this??

What does this have to do with Linux, or MySQL ? PHP can't do this. It runs on the server, which I assume you don't want to put to sleep. It generates HTML, which runs in a browser. HTML and javascript cannot put a computer to sleep.

u wrong.. we can do it one guy replied we can do this by using php system function

If you use the PHP system function, you shut down the computer that runs the server. There is no way to shut down the computer of the client.

we use system('shutdown -t -s ') to shutdown server.. it works :)
now we use system('shutdown -s -m \\vm -t 0') to shutdown virutal machine but it not works.. can u knw to shutdown a remotecomputer by using php?

we use system('shutdown -t -s ') to shutdown server.. it works :)
now we use system('shutdown -s -m \\vm -t 0') to shutdown virutal machine but it not works.. can u knw to shutdown a remotecomputer by using php?

Did you even read the other posts? It is not possible to shut down client computer using PHP

The core question is, why on EARTH do you want a web page to shut down a computer ? In what world is this a good idea ? As is so often the case, I think you need to state the business need, not the bizarre idea you had for how to fulfill it. You CANNOT shut down a computer using a web page. You will need to install software on the client machines, and then they would have to connect over the internet or a LAN if you wanted to send a shutdown message. I am certain that is possible. But, in a webpage ? No.

I'm working in cloud platform.. I installed VM ware workstation in my system.. In this im having Windows, Ubuntu. Im using bridged connecion. Each OS having different IP.. Now i want to shutdown ubuntu using php script. Is it possible?
But i know to shutdown my own system using system('shutdown -s -t') function but i cant able to shutdown Ubuntu using system('shutdown -s -m \\vm -t 0')
If u know about above function give me a solution..

I can't rewrite your browser so that it supports shutting down a PC via javascript, it's just not possible.
