I have Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Certificate, currently working in a small AI company. The scope of Artificial Intelligence is not hidden from any ordinary eye today, which is why I have decided to build up my professional career in AI. Can anyone guide me on whether I should go for the Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate Certification? Is it worth it?

What I have tried:

I recently passed Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Exam and now working as an internee in a small AI company.

You should ask your boss, as they are in the AI business.

Thanks; but where I work is not such a place. They wouldn't want me to leave.

Well you could ask if passing that exam would help in your work at the company. They may even pay you to do it. But the answer is impossible because it depends on what potential employers are looking for when recruiting. And people here tend to be developers not recruiters.

If you're already in an "AI job", you should focus on the job. There is no current "AI job description", and the more experience you get, the better off you'll be; at least in the short term until they define what an "AI expert" is.

Thanks for the guidance.

Artificial Intelligence has a broad scope in the future, undoubtedly more than any other field. I think you have chosen the best path. And now is the perfect time to step up your career in AI as it is taking over a few significant fields. As far as the Microsoft AI-102 Exam is concerned, these certification exams can help you get a certificate in your name and maybe a promotion too where you are working, but what will take you through your career is your knowledge and experience in this field.
I am an AI developer working remotely (in Nigeria right now). After my bachelor's, I didn't opt for direct certifications but chose to gain a lot of experience in this field, as experience is majorly worth it. A few years into it, I took these certifications. By the time I earned these certifications, I'd already gotten much experience in this field that these certifications didn't do much for me other than just earning it in my name. As a beginner, you should avail this opportunity and take the Microsoft AI-102 certification Exam as it will surely boost your knowledge, if not your career in the field of IT.
Regards,

Thank you so much for taking some time to give a quick view of your personal experience. And by my style, you guessed it right, I am a beginner in AI and have passed only the Microsoft AI fundamentals Exam.
Can you guide me a little more on how and from where I can prepare for my Microsoft AI-102 Exam; maybe suggest a study guide or something.

Sure thing. You can easily find all the necessary preparation material on the official site of Microsoft. Microsoft itself gives instructor-based classes, too; You can choose self-study cases. You can also find such material at Whizlabs and Udemy. You should also take some preparation evaluation measures to strengthen your preparation in finalizing your preparation. After the preparation, I practiced with the AI-102 Practice Test which gave me a higher understanding of the exam. Best of Luck.
Basically, taking an exam is not for the career boost. :) First you should be enrolled to the course, get the knowledge, and then, finally, take the specific exam. After, you will be able to use the skills from this cource in your work. This probably would give you the career boost.

Regarding the Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate Certification I've got no idea is it worth, or not, because I never used to take this course, as well as the exam, you're asking about.
