Hello All,

I am having a few issues with setting globalization with the Chinese language with the asp.net website. We have a website in asp.net with VB.net and we have implemented the globalization English/French/Chinese language culture using a Resource file.

All English/French cultures are working fine but when we are trying to apply Chinese culture then UI is unsorted due to some extra space are converted into HTML B tag and some div are inside into this B tag. We are unable to understand why this happing.

Some pages working fine but some pages UI disorder.

I hope someone might be able to assist.

What I have tried:

I have tried UTF-8 and other meta content tags for resolving this setting.

Also tried setting globalization setting into the web.config.

But the issue is still the same.

"Unsorted". How does anyone here know how they should be "sorted"? (Or not).

Chinese uses double byte (and perhaps triple byte characters); English and French not so much. Maybe you need to consider those extra bytes, when "sorting" (or not).

Thanks for your comments. Here "Unsorted" means UI does not display properly in the Chinese culture but UI is working fine in the English/French culture in asp.net
