Hi,

Is it possible to have interactive sort of detail rows work in an SSRS 2008 matrix report? I have a simple structure as below:

Bank | 2002 | 2003 |
----------------------------
Bank 1 |2,000 | 2,500 |
Bank 2 |2,500 | 2,100 |

what i need is to be able to click on 2002 and have the entire display sorted by values under 2002, etc. the columns are parameterised so they will be created at run time (basically how a matrix works).

Believe me I have searched high and low. So simple right-click textbox properties > interactive sort > enable sort > details > (fx) paramater name wont work. All web notes that I have read refer to a procedure which worked in 2005 version, but seems it is different in 2008 version.

I have a strong feeling some formular can be used but cant figure it out.
