I have a SL app which clashes on client computer. Initially I upgraded it to SL 5 and it clashed so I downgraded it to SL, but after 2 months with another release it started clashing again. I have installed all updates on Win7 and .Net Framework 4 and everything I can think of. I get the following error. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Do you wan to use the word 'clashes' or 'crashes' ? ..Even if I use the alternative, I am still unable to understand the question.

Thanks, I mean crashes. In Win 7, there is that pop up with the message 'Application has stopped working ...'. Above are the details of the crash report.

Have you tested it on multiple machines? The problem may be for the specific machine only or the browser version only

I have tested on a couple. It crashed at first on all test environments when I apgraded to v5 but stopped after the downgrade. I have latest version of browsers, IE 9 and firefox 14 beta. AM still investigating. Thanks again.

Use any recursive functions?

1 solution

I installed several updates from Microsoft and it seems somehow the problem was fixed. However, I learnt a lesson on not to create heavy processor intensive applications using Silverlight. I later on turned to WPF
