how to manually create a process minidump in Windows XP

In Win7 you can right-click on a process in Task Manager and use "create memory dump" very easily.

Is there any, relatively easy way, to force a minidump for a process in Windows XP?

This would be for an end user so having them use WinDbg wouldn't be a great option.

I'm hoping there's some command somewhere to do this.

Solution 1

You can sysinternals procdump utility. Just write a batchfile to start this tool and it will create a dump.
