How to use minhook? What's the purpose of the precompiled DLL's?

so I went here And downloaded the realeses from the github repo, But I don't understand something here, How do i use this, Do i only have to call the

MinHook.h

? and use some functions from it? if yes then what is the purpose of precompiled dll in this link: "https://github.com/TsudaKageyu/minhook/releases/download/v1.3.3/MinHook_133_lib.zip" ?
