Css how to separate a row of 4 into four separate entities

Hi, I am using square space and have rows of 4 icons, twice. So eight icons. Though, since they are in grid mode, they move and are dependent on eachothers placement. Is there a way that I can separate their bond, and make them individual entities that can have fixed positioning when minimizing and maximizing the screen?

What I have tried:

Not too much, I'm not the best at coding so I don't really know what I'm doing. I'd appreciate any advice!
