Xamarin get location project issues

hi , i followed this tutorial ( Get Current Device Location - Xamarin[^]) on creating a application that detects the location of the device once the button was clicked.Ive managed to create the program and followed the tutorial step by step, no build errors whatsoever but whenever i click the button (Get Address ) i just end up with the error , unable to detect location, please try agian later? i have no idea what might cause this, i did email xamarin support , stil waiting so i figured id put the problem up here as well . thanks in advance :)

This sounds more like a device issues than a coding problem.

thanks ill look into it , im using an emulator and not an actual android device? could that be the problem?

Um, do you think there is a GPS sensor inside the emulator?

i dont know, the emulator does have a gps setting as well as location services, and lattitude and stuff like that

Yes that may be so, but it still needs some physical device to get this information.
