Fortunately this was a multiple select poll, because for various reasons we also use VC .NET 2002, as well as VC 6 (although that's only for digging out legacy stuff anymore. I'll be very glad, as Sybase has introduced PBNI (PowerBuilder Native Interface) that allows you to code components in C++ and use them as native PB objects ... Cause, I am doing so right now to learn more about remoting and Web Services. So far it's been a pleasant surprise to work with even though I'm using command line tools to do everything. I was onsite once and had to make some tweaks to an ASP.NET app, only the client naturally did not have VS.NET handy. Took me awhile to figure it out but eventually I got CSC.exe working and from that day on I made sure all my co-workers who went on site could do it too. I've converted all but two of my existing c++ legacy apps from VS6 to 2003. One I can't do because it is dependant on a static lib that only works with VS6. The other is one of my biggest apps and I don't really have time to do all the needed regression testing on it. I used to hate VS.NET ide, but now it has grown on me and I don't like going back to VS6 anymore. We switched to VS 2003, mostly because of the new standard-compliant C++ compiler and Standard C++ Library. It's so good to finally be able to use Loki and other template libraries
