Can you delete open tabs in EDGE one by one like Firefox with X in tab?

If you mean the "X" in the open page tab you use to select a page to view out of the five or six you have open, then yes - just click it and it'll close.

Or you can use CTRL+F4 to close the current page.

This doesn't mean I use Edge willingly - for some stupid reason Microsoft pages don't open properly in Chrome (the only site that doesn't) on my desktop but do on the Surface and in Edge ... Sigh | :sigh:

Otherwise it would sit there and be ignored for another decade.

I think I have a corrupted version of edge or it's running with some sort settings issue.
What I should have said was edge had tabs without the X so I could not delete them using the normal method I use with Firefox by clicking on X. Thanx for feedback. I learned some new things about edge. Edge runs slightly different on Win 11 on a laptop vs desktop (both running latest rev of OS). I kind of miss IE though I didn't use it as much as Firefox. Same with EDGE. Not regular user. It's user interface is not very good considerin all the experience of Windows developers. Or maybe not.

Middle mouse button click. At least I assume so. I think I would have noticed if it does not work as this is how you can close a tab in pretty much any Window application.

I forgot that option. Thanx. Edge can be a bit spooky at times as it behaves differently on my machines. Probably my error...
