You also don't need to reinstall Windows to set the main monitor. Or you can think outside your box and simply swap the cables.

Nope, I want a clean install - I suspect this installation still has Win XP code in there somewhere, it's been upgraded that often ... 
And changing the main monitor affects loads of things - notably games which I don't want to play on a tall, thin landscape monitor.
In Win 10, you could "Unlock" the taskbar, drag it to the side, or a different monitor and then lock it there. It just worked. This new one isn't centered properly, so I have to have it over to the left or it'll be like staring at the mirror that isn't level and my eye will start to twitch again!

I *think* the mouse is original Logitech Trackman Wheel, but it's possible that was replaced ...
It's a bit like the old saying: "best axe I ever owned: only 7 hew handles and 5 new heads since I bought it!"
Slowly but surely, over the years, it's had a new case here, a new PSU there, here a motherboard, there an SSD, "oh, the CRT monitor died - I'll get an LCD" over there.
If I'd saved all the bits, I'd have a bigger pile of dead or redundant computer parts than I do now ...

In other words, you haven't done a clean install of Windows since XP? That's an admirable feat.
I built my current rig just after Weven came out, and I did a clean install then. I'll have to disable the fancy CPU security thingy before I upgrade to 11, 'cause I'm not about to try and build a new machine with today's prices.
If you think 'goto' is evil, try writing an Assembly program without JMP.

My understanding is that this isn't as much of a glitch as it is a limitation. Apparently they're aware of the "problem" and proper functionality will be restored "in a future release". No ETA (that I'm aware of) that they've committed to.

Waiting and not seeing it; they currently move in the other direction:
There has already been a registry trick to restore left/right taskbars (with an occasional Explorer crash), however they now have disabled all of that.

The Windows 11 "taskbar" is disgusting. It should be at the left of the screen, with real icons, with text, progress, etc. They downgraded my developer PC to a bloody iPhone.

Yeah, the taskbar thing is rather irksome to me too - we've all been using these super-wide monitors for, what, over a decade now? And have a look at most websites: content in the middle 1/2 (or even less!) and whitespace all around. This phenomenon isn't exclusive to the web either.
I used to tack my taskbar to the right of the main monitor (where I have a browser open) and no taskbar on other monitors, because I want all the real-estate for code. Now I have 5% less vertical space (that I could have actually used) and all this wasted horizontal space. Good one, MS.

It's too slow though (both specific seasons and the release of them). I have been following and watching them. Have forgot past seasons 
Current one too has so many threads and all of them moving at slow pace.

That's because it's close to the original books - and most novels are abridged heavily to make it to the screen to "keep the action going". The Expanse wasn't (except for the last season which lost a lot of material) - if anything it added stuff to "deepen" the characters in ways that wouldn't work in the books.

also, common sense will dictate that if you speed up the story line, then there would be fewer seasons. Fewer seasons on a hit show like the Expanse would be well, stupid.

Except that in the streaming world a hit show brings in a bunch of new subscribers for the first season. A few more for the second, and very little new revenue after that. After the show ends only a small percentage will drop the service. So spending a bunch of money on a show after the third season provides very little uptick for the service. This is a much different business model from mainstream TV.

A great deal of people cancel their subscriptions after they have watched/binge-watched a particular series . That is why a lot of streaming services are not releasing the entire season at one time. one per week, keeping your subscription longer than 3 days.

Agree. It's a trade off between number of seasons and keeping it interesting/glued.
For me, little more breadcrums would really help. (Also a quick recap of all seasons in an hour )

For example, 'the dogs made the dead boy body living', some more story cover there would have helped for the season. A little more on 'Entities'.

I really hope they choose to eventually finish it out with 2-3 more seasons. As it stands, I have no idea why they decided to spend valuable time and money on the kids' storyline that never tied into the main story, never resolved, and was purely a setup for what would be the events of season 7. They gave at least an entire episode's worth of screen-time to that story in an already time-starved season, causing other events to get cut short and really lose their impact in my opinion. Still a good season but they made some odd decisions.
