i searched lot google to know what is default measurement unit of EPPlus but found no info. anyone can tell me what is default measurement unit of EPPlus ?
is it point, inches, pixel ?

I assume you are talking about eMeasurementUnits[^] here. You can't change a default because it's just that, a default. If what you are after is changing the measurement unit, then that is set via ExcelVmlMeasurementUnit[^].

Hello, here I have finished my Super Market management application, but what worries me is that I am blocked is that after the installation of Setup on the pc when the user will start for the 1st time who has a form that he needs. '' register company information (shop, pharmacy, supermarket, etc.)
Ex: Store name, address, telephone etc. and the name & password for the system administrator. After entering this information, when the user is going to run the program again, he now goes to the "Login" form.
Please if anyone has an idea please help me

Your question is not clear.
I suspect what you are asking is how you differentiate the following
1. Setup
2. Application.
There are two choices.
1. The application on start up checks for completed information. If not there then ask for it. Otherwise continue.
2. The setup itself always requests the information. You cannot finish the set up without providing the information. If the information is not provided then there is no application to run (again because the set up did not complete.)

To be honest, if you can't work this out on your own, then I wouldn't trust your app to be of any use to anyone in the real world.
All you need to do is add a simple boolean to wherever you are storing the store information and check it when you start up. If it's set, you go to login. If it isn't, you go to the "Enter the initial info" form, and then set it to true ready for next time.
How come you can't work that out for yourself after writing a whole supermarket management app? It's trivial compared with stock management, product ordering, cash and electronic payment handling, staff monitoring, pricing control (including legal requirements on increased / decreased price display / charge order and timing), tax handling, theft prevention, and more ...

Is this a commercial application or a school project? If it's a commercial application, I would strongly suggest that you need to invest time in an identity management solution; my preferred choice is Keycloak.

I am measuring voltage and passing it into a C# desktop application. I need to have a graphical representation of that voltage, something similar to a linear volume meter would be perfect.
Currently I've taken a trackbar and am writing the voltage value to it. It's not ideal though. Has some issues. Certainly there's a better way to do this?

I am trying to place a picture into B1 cell. picture is getting inserted but height is getting bigger than original image. how automatically height is getting stretched?
I am using EPPlus version 4.0.6.0 & .Net version 4.5.2. using VS IDE 2013.

why do i need to set the aspect ratio. my image size is fine. when i manually insert that image into B1 cell from excel then it looks fine. so i assume i do not have to set any size for my image. when i insert that image into cell using EPPlus then height getting bigger but reason is not clear to me.
please give me more suggestion to deal this situation. thanks

When you insert the image directly from Excel, Excel is retaining the aspect ratio of the image.
When you're resizing the image, you are NOT retaining the aspect ratio because your resize code is not correct.
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to access the region from a tick thread which is calling a bgworker().

Its kind of frustrating because I have been sitting here for 3 days (I have a high tolerance of trying different variations before I burn myself out) trying to figure out why it works fine in Timer_Tick but not when Timer) Tick is running the Backgroundworker. My guess is that it is because of the Threads between the both.

It's probably pretty simple: only code that is running on the main (UI) thread can access any control in any way: since you moved it to a BackgroundWorker it isn't running on that thread any more, so when you try to access the Image or similar it's failing with an exception. Start by adding a try...catch block with Debug.WriteLine statements to check that and consider either Invoking the relevant controls or moving the Control related code back to the UI thread via the Progress reporting mechanism of the BackgroundWorker.

I have a C# solution with multiple projects in it:
- Project 1 = A Windows Service project (with an app.config file containing general settings, to be used by ALL projects; this project will be the "main" startup project of the solution)
- Project 2 = A class library containing classes and functions that will handle execution of business logic (and do some logging in the EventViewer)
Upon startup, the Windows Service should read contents of its app.config [THIS WORKS!!!]
- Project 3 = A WinForm Test application that I temporarily use to test the business logic execution and logging.
Ultimate goal is to "remove" Project 3 and have the Windows service handle the business logic/logging.
In the app.config, I enter the settings that will be used by both project 1 and 2. Is there a simple way to "share" the config settings across all projects in the entire solution (upon startup of the service)?
I can create a GeneralConfig class, and add some properties, but how can I make this object (with the current properties) common to all projects. Is there something like a "single-instance" object.

Take a look at TopShelf[^] and you won't need the separate Test application project.
It's a console "wrapper" around your service, allowing you to run the app either as a console application or as a service, in a single executable.
