I guess this is a subcase where someone who didn't specifically ask for a Mentor gets Mentor access. Something for us to think about. Jason Sultana6-May-21 11:33 Jason Sultana 6-May-21 11:33  Hi guys. I've got a my technical blog RSS feed imported into CodeProject, and my first 3 articles were imported successfully. Just looking at my feed in CP though, it says that the last import was done on 7-Apr-21 6:17 (1 month ago). There is definitely new content there that hasn't been syndicated to CP. I think I read that feeds are meant to be ingested hourly, but it looks like mine was inactive for about a month or so. For instance Doing UTF-8 in Windows landed in "Markdown" section while Doing UTF-8 in Windows, Part 2 - Tolower or Not to Lower is (more plausible) in "C++" section. I would have thought both should have been in "Win32" section. Also Stern-Brocot Trees and their Applications is in XML section while "Algorithms" would have been a much better place. Any thoughts or means to fix this myself? So you have to play with the tags until your article lands in an appropriate category. If Chris is listening, I predict that this scheme will eventually go the way of the Wool Reserve Price. You can add them manually, by checking boxes, or automatically, by clicking on a button. I believe the automatic approach looks for keywords in your article. If you never added any tags to your article, I'm guessing that they were added automatically. EDIT: I quickly looked at all your articles, and they all have tags. Some make sense, and others... Changed the tags for Stern-Brocot Trees and their Applications to "Algorithms" and "C++" making sure I don't press "Detact tags automatically". Is it so that people don't engage so much on other developers' work these days? There used to be lots of comments on every new article. I think that the feedback, and the discussions are one important drive to make developers share code and articles, anyway. It does not in any way resemble the original code block(s). Since the GitHub links are auto-refreshed, I cannot simply "fix" the problem here, since each new imported revision will over-write my changes and the original bad markup will reappear. May I suggest that the Code Project adapt the full nuance and detail of markdown languages in use around the Internet? This is most definitely my fault, but how do I fix it? Can I move an article to a new section, or that task in the domain of someone with admin rights? This is a very recent change and may still be in flux. There is no longer a way to explicitly categorize an article yourself. All you can do is play with your tags until your article ends up in the category that you think appropriate.
