I was referring to all the new accounts created to post in QA. I assume it is just laziness (like some of the questions) but there may have been some other reason.

By "specifically named", do you mean that only the C/C++ examples are broken? I'm surprised that the first one is colorized at all, given that it doesn't specify a language.

If you don't specify anything, it tried to work it out for you - and mostly does a pretty good job.
But only the C / C++ ones gave a comment problem.

Chris is looking into this. He thinks it has something to do with the comment continuation character support he added to c/c++.

I didn't even realize there was such a thing.

I wasn't sure what you meant, but it looks like a backslash at the end of a line continues a comment. This makes sense insofar as it escapes the endline character, but I still think it's silly.

One thing I learned when writing specifications. Make one or two silly, easy to fix, mistakes or requirements. The reviewers need to find something to justify their existence, so make both your lives easier.

Strange Copy Code problem in QA - solved

I added Solution 3 to the question at Performing arithmetic operations with textbox values[^]. But now, when I click the Copy Code button in my solution it picks up random code from elsewhere in the entry, e.g.

On Button click, divide the value of textbox1 with the sum of the values of TesxtBox2, TextBox3, and TextBox4, then multiply the result with the value of TextBox5. Show the final result in textBox6. I have tried manipulating the below code, but doesn't seem to get. Would appreciate any valuable assistance

This was using Chrome, and it happened at least five times for me. I just restarted Chrome and it appears to be OK.

Hi all

Is there a way to change the font CP uses to display code snippets in articles?

My new tablet is currently showing code in Courier New and I always code in a non serif font.

Do you have Consolas installed?
The CSS for the code shows:

CSS

font-family: Consolas, "Courier New", Courier, mono

So Courier New is a "fallback" font, if Consolas isn't installed.

(You can see this by using Chrome Inspect, then looking at the Computed tab for the element.)

Bummer. Consolas is a MS font and appears not to be available on Android.

Would it be feasible to have a fallback for Consolas in the same way there is a fallback for Courier New?
