Interesting... I was midway through a rebuttal, when it dawned on me..
Fathers don't normally have 0.2 children... Although in TODAYS WOKE World, I wont bother saying what came to mind w/regards to many options if you had said 4.9... LOL... "Child Abuse? or Math?"

Actually, I had remembered it wrongly. The saying was actually "The mean father has 2.4 children"; but that does not affect the usefulness of the saying. A median no of children must be an integer, whereas a mean is often non-integer. It is an amusing statement because of the ambiguity about what a mean father means.
For UK CPian, I guess that is why the TV comedy series "2.4 Children" is so named - it is from this statement.

Background
My laptop arrived a couple of weeks ago and on the weekends I use it in a different space in my home so I don't feel like I'm in The Office (I'm WFH since Covid).
My main desktop in The Office is running Ubuntu 20.04 and I'm very happy with it. I use a program called Remmina[^] which allows me to remote to my work Win10 desktops.
Since yesterday was a weekend I was running my new Win10 laptop and I remoted to work for something using Windows RDP.
Visual Studio Code In Full-screen Mode - Ugh!
I got stuck in a mode where Visual Studio Code on the remote machine was in full-screen mode.
I could not figure out how to send a CTRL-TAB to switch through windows on the remote.
Remmina Supports Keyboard
In Remmina there is a simple toolbar that you use that allows you to choose to Send All Keyboard commands to remote when floating over the remote window. See snapshot[^].
Does RDP Let You Send Keyboard Commands?
I could not find this option anywhere in Win10. Is this removed from Win10 RDP?
Is it the version of Win10 that I'm running? I'm running Windows 10 Home 64 Plus and of course it is updated to the latest version.
I'm totally knocked out by this, if the feature to send special keys to the remote under Win10 RDP is gone or unavailable. And even if the option is there, it is so difficult to find that it is almost useless anyways. I never found it.
Is this the situation? What have you found?
If RDP doesn't support this, it literally means it is better to use Linux to remote to a Win10 desktop than it is to use Win10.

Click on other options when you open RDP. Under Show Options, local settings are choices.
The connection bar may be set to "disappear" like the task bar. move your cursor a little above the center of the screen.

Ok, I'm trying this...
I have my RDP set to full-screen and I'm attempting to float around the middle here at the top bar, right? See snapshot[^].
I have the option set in RDP connection setup -- see snapshot[^].
I still never see something. I thought I remember in the past you float around there and then it suddenly appears???

Things like Alt Tab work for me. I think Remmina is more flexible. I like RDPs video scaling better. I don't remote much, I run all my Windows "systems" in VM's. Only when I help someone remotely via VPN.

Yeah, I guess that what is supposed to happen is that when I go into full-screen mode on the RDP then it should grab all keystrokes. I'm not sure I tried that the other day, but I thought I did as a last resort.
Of course, like you said, it is a lot better to be able to grab keystrokes even if not in full-screen mode. I also like that remmina allows me to save my login passwords so I double-click a remote machine and it logs me in. I know this is probably security hole but I still like it. 
The final point is that using MS RDP is annoying and isn't really user-friendly user-helpful. Well, that is to be expected.

Remmina is good. But I still actually prefer RDP in Win10 for Windows Servers. But I might be a special case.  yes I know.

Ok, I did notice that when I full-screen RDP then it does seem to take keystrokes. I thought I tried that the other day and it still didn't work. Thanks for your help.
