Current results are mostly useless, is this something that needs someone to create a slack integration of some sort, or is it just Slack trying and failing to usefully parse CPs html?

No, I'm saying I don't know if it's a slack problem or a CP problem.
Richard's theory is plausible, barring any farther insights suggesting otherwise I probably will be posting to bugsnsugs later today (or maybe monday depending on how lazy I am).

Our team tried Slack... we still have it set up... but no-one used it (apart from the guy who set it up).
MS Teams does all the annoying stuff we need a thing like this to do - so we use that. It annoys us quite effectively, we didn't need Slack to do it for us.

I suspect Slack is using the page metadata, which doesn't change when you link directly to a message or thread in a forum.
This would need the hamsters to update the site code, so it needs to be reported in Bugs & Suggs.

Hi All,
Working from Home sound great (apart from the commute bedroom to dining table, what a chore!) the worst part is I was having issues with my user account not being set up right (some how I was taken as an employee who had worked for the company before so had everything up) so thats causing issues combined with the wetstring and bean tins used to connect broad band here. It seems that all I do is have 'Teams' meetings, one is set up for Monday to find out why we are not meeting dead lines or a meeting to discuss why we have so many meetings...

Well Monday isn't that far off so you don't have much time - you need to organise a pre-meeting-meeting to decide a common strategy and ensure you are all singing from the same song sheet.
