Hello,

I'm having an issue with my javascript slider inside removals page.

You can check it out on www.poznanprzeprowadzki.pl (not a commercial :P), section "Galeria".

On the first load, the slideshow works but, the 3/4 of one image and 1/4 of second image is inside the slideshow-container. It is possible to slide through the gallery, but one click on the button isn't moving the image enough. After the refresh, inside the slideshow-container there is only one image, and it works fine sliding through gallery.

I included the script after the footer section. Hope someone can help me... Smile | :)

Unless the <img> element has an explicit width set, you'll need to wait for the images to finish loading before you can measure them. On the first page load, your script is probably running before the images have finished loading. On subsequent page loads, the images are probably being loaded from the cache, and finish loading before you script runs.

There's a handy plugin for detecting when all images in a container have finished loading:

Unfortunately it didn't help. I tried to set height and width of the images, tried to set the width of the images to 100% of the containers width and nothing helped.

I used both CDN scripts from your link.

I just realized that Mozilla Firefox is also displaying the slideshow bad. The images are way smaller and are all visible.

Hello everyone,

I'm new to Javascript and I'm trying to write a function that returns a pyramid shape inside an array. The problem is that I can't get it to display each element of the array on a different line.

Here is my code:

var myPyramid = [];
var block ='#';
var space =' ';

for(let i = 0; i < height; i++){

myPyramid.push((space.repeat(height - i) + block.repeat((i * 2) + 1)));

You have a one dimensional array so it will print the entire array on a single line. You will need to create a 2D array, that is an array of arrays. Each inner array will contain the values for each line to be printed. Your print part will then need to be something like:

As Richard says, you have a 1-dimensional array; but you're populating it with a string representation, and that's all fine.
console.log will display the contents in a single line, that's just how it works. But there's a "downarrow" link next to that single line; click it and the console will show each element on a separate line, illustrating the pyramid shape as you want it.

If you want the pyramid shown directly in the log without further user intervention, as Richard points out you'll need to use a loop to log each element separately (exactly as Richard has written it).

Hi, first time posting so hopefully doing it correctly. I have used a form builder to build my forms but have run into a couple of issues with functionality. In the code/calculation below I need to be able to return the answer 0 if the answer is less than 0. I've searched loads to no avail so any help would be much appreciated. T.I.A.

You still have the same problem that the expression Nett_Earnings -Actual_Takings >0==0 does not make a lot of sense. The > operator means greater than, and == means equals. You need to capture the value of Nett_Earnings -Actual_Takings and then set it to zero if it is negative (assuming I understand the question).

No, that is still not a valid expression. I think you need to do one or both of two things:
1. Learn Javascript, expecially with regard to expressions and operators.
2. Find out exactly how this package that you are trying to use actually works. It may well be that it uses different syntax from Javascript so anything mentioned here may not be valid.

Looking at the documentation, you need to modify your calculation to use either an if_else expression:

I really need to create a objectId on the client side, but have been avoiding it because I can't figure out how.
So I added the npm bson-objectid, but can't figure out how to make it work.

I put this in my app.module

I am writing a javascript to format JSON objects to array of JSON objects.
My input is,

Hi I want to create a matrix 'B' like given below while I only have an array 'A'

A=[0 1 2 3 4]

B= [0 1 2 3 4
1 2 3 4 5

For some reason, these few lines are not working
