You don't need to read the entire book, if the compiler points to a certain chapter. It is ineffective.

That's not taste, but science. People are good at spotting patterns and seeing deviations. SOLID also means we do not have to read the entire codebase to explain why the logger blew up.

Yes, that was a set up, and an easy one. Call back if you know what you want; but if I see a blot of spaghetti in SourceSafe I will simply delete it.
