I'm just so incredibly sick of hearing about troubles with windows 10, now that I no longer have to suffer it myself, and it saddens me that so many people are losing time and wasting effort because of all their incompetent decisions and changes.
winio is yet another example where "IT'S FOR YOUR SECURITY!" has been incessantly screamed at people, to make them bend the knee to irrelevant behaviour of tyrannical idiots.

Not too long ago I worked somewhere that used static variables for global values instead of constants. I began telling the senior dev there why it is better to use constants, starting "When you use constants the compiler....", he then interrupted me quite irate and said "What do I care what the compiler is doing? Why should the compiler affect how I code?"

At last count, they had three unified searches -- but if cursor shadows are on and there's green in your desktop wallpaper, two of them don't work.
The way they do it, unified is just "unidentified", without teeth.

After making the announcement that Microsoft was planning to retire several of their very popular certifications on June 30 of this year, Microsoft has confirmed that the planned retirement of their Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associated (MCSA) certifications were being put on hold. Oh good, I'm still certifiable (for a while)

But of course all the studies reach the same conclusions. Writing a few scripts to connect the dots that lead to the keyhole in your bedroom door doesn't take a huge team of highly-trained rocket surgeons.
