I love EF and I know how to use EF and EF helps our company make sh*t loads of money because it works.

I have not yet tried it but I have heard various wild rumours, some of which might be true. I didn't get the opportunity to pick amongst these aforesaid rumours in order to support my position on 2019 - which is that 2010 was the last good version of visual Studio, everything since then is bloat/fluff and probably unnecessary.

2013 wasn't bad, but 2017 flashed so much help on the screen as I typed, I was having seizures as my eyes tried to process all the flashing.

Another problem with 2017 and newer is that there is an offline install requires 50GB of hard drive space to contain all of the possible installed files. That means you have to put the files onto a thumb drive instead of a DVD. Even when you 7Zip it, 2019 takes four 8GB DVDs (2017 needs five!).
