The JunoCam camera aboard NASA's Juno mission is operational and sending down data after the spacecraft's July 4 arrival at Jupiter. Juno's visible-light camera was turned on six days after Juno fired its main engine and placed itself into orbit around the largest planetary inhabitant of our solar system. The first high-resolution images of the gas giant Jupiter are still a few weeks away. Totally PhotoShopped

A visible light camera/telescope, included in the payload to facilitate education and public outreach. It is anticipated that it will operate for only seven orbits around Jupiter due to the planet's damaging radiation and magnetic field.
It'll be interesting to see if it lasts longer.

I use C++ comments for actual comments.
I use C style comments for commenting out stuff.

This is only ever employed while investigating issues. I remove such offences well before checking in. Commented out code under source control is, without doubt, an abomination.
