The types for which I would use these semantic name types belong to a type hierarchy and are polymorphically used in several places; so with structs I would probably have to have several new method overloads which I could prevent with classes (and sub-classes) instead of structs. Also I'm guessing that the performance degradation will be insignificant because although those name lookups happen at a lot of places it's anything but the "main business". I'll probably profile both ways Wink | ;)
