There seems to be a major problem with the site today, and I suspect this is tied in with all messages going to the moderation queue (which is where this one is going in a moment).

It seems that I cannot post a message, at least in Spam & Abuse Watch forum, without being instantly flagged as spammer.
OriginalGriff had to pop my post out of the moderation queue. And my answer to him seems to have been moderated, also.
On my reputation page, there a 2 entries corresponding to both messages that have been moderated:
-1 Debator Post a General Forum Message (undo)

I'm building a personal professional site. Stuff around me from a technical stand.
For this I've got a WordPress blog. A created a page that gets the RSS feed of that blog, and gets the RSS feed of CodeProject and combines them.
I used the link from my profile. But every now and then, I seem to get random content.
Is this by design.

If I just CTRL+F5 this WebServices/ArticleRSS.aspx?amid=604769[^] feed, which should show my articles every now and then say 1 in 20, posts of other authors appear.
I don't know how to be more specific.

I just deleted a message in the C# forum (it was down-voted, and upon reflection, I decided that what I wrote was wrong) - 'Threads vs. Tasks'. Given that the site records postings, up-votes, and down-votes, should the reputation points accrue / debited not be "undone?"
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Still no change.
Removing a bookmark does reverse the accrued points. It appears that deleting a message does not. Bug? Feature?

With some very limited experimenting it would seem like that removing a message that have had some subsequent action happening to it such as a response or a vote will only exchange the subject and message for a standard text.
I could be wrong though.

I've just checked - the message has disappeared, but my points have not been modified (at least - nothing appears in the reputation events log).

Add a way for CP members to endorse each other in terms of skill-set/ability. Weighted reputation points would be earned for each endorsement (like article voting is weighted by reputation of voter). Allow the voter to leave a short comment regarding his/her vote. Other users should be able see who you endorse, and who endorses you. It might be useful to see the date of the endorsement as well.

I can't see this one, John. I think the reputation system now reflects "endorsement" of the only meaningful kind we can possibly do given the fact that for most of use face-to-face verified knowledge of other people's skill-sets, outside the technical, is limited to the few members, on average, that most members know "personally."
I might be able to have a fairly objective view of someone's depth, and knowledge, and achievements, in writing code, but how could I know how that might "map" to other aspects of their character, behavior, ability to work in a team, etc., etc.
Yes, I think the rep-system here is flawed, and can-be- and is- gamed, by some, but, so is every other rep system anywhere in the netiverse 
But, yeah I would hire you to organize getting my Mustang hot-rodded, if I had one.
