I've technically been to France.. although I didn't leave North America. It was the island of St. Pierre.

I'm not that sure, but I think that technically I've been to the US without leaving Europe: I visited several times the american cemetery[^] at Colleville sur Mer, just over Omaha Beach. A very moving place.

Interesting - never knew about that cemetary. I was somewhat surprised at how French St. Pierre actually was... I expected it to be at least somewhat Americanized/Canadianized becuase of how close it is to Canada (1 hour ferry ride)... but there isn't even a McDonald's there.

I plead guilty. You see, I put up that site roughly one and a half years back and haven't updated anything since then (except for the pics). I've been a CP member for only 6 months. A massive site update (with my Win32 stuff ) is scheduled for the end of this month. If it still doesn't have CP links, you can shoot me. But my email signature (not the Sancharnet one) sings praises of CP.

Thanks. When I wrote it, it seemed pretty good (I was a total tyro back then). When I look at it now, I don't think it's such a great piece of work. But if you like it... . And no, I don't think it'll be of much use to CP members- most of them know all about spyware.
And oh, did I say my (kid) brother is gonna learn French for his next two years of school (11th and 12th standards), starting this June?

j'ai pas tout compris, mais c'est d'la fesse atomique du slip tout ca
tu l'as fait ou ton DUT ? (meme si ca doit commencer a dater )
et pi tu dois etre décu d'apprendre que le compere antillais n'est qu'en fait un composant factice, importé pr raisons de familles, et pas plus bronzé qu'un cul qui n'a jamais vu l'soleil !

je dirais plutot que le mien est là ou est mon coeur... il est pour beaucoup là-bas, mme si je ne voudrais pas y retourner dans l'immédiat pour le boulot. Pr le moment, rien n'est prévu, mais si j'y vais, c'est pour retrouver les amis et les plages.
