Your syntax is wrong...
TRUNCATE TABLE testtbl set id=1
It should be like this
TRUNCATE TABLE testtbl
In MySQL TRUNCATE TABLE will reset AUTO_INCREMENT counters (before 5.0.3 it's true only if there is not FKs on the table, but since 5.0.3 it happens always regardless of FKs)...

I am programming in c# and html. On the bottom part of the page I would like to show a series of pictures, that need to scroll around. There are about 20 pictures.
I have tried to create a panel in html but am unable to scroll each picture. Any assistance will be appreciated.

In a vb.net 2010 web form application, the folllowing gridview control is loaded with data and 3
textboxes are displayed when the aspx page first loads. Now I want to allow the user to be able
to enter last name, first name, and/or middle name so they can search for 'selected' people by
name. This way less rows would be displayed in the gridview control
I would like to do one of the following options:
1. Have the user enter the appropriate name in up to 3 texboxes and click on a submit button. The
data would be reloaded into the gridview control displaying only the records the user selected to
view.
2. The other option would be if the user enters values in the applicable textboxes and the
gridview control would display the selected rows in the gridview control when the focus is lost
from each textbox.
Thus would you show me the code on how to accomplish this goal? The following is the applicable

I want to make website can add / update / delete content file text (.txt).
For example I created a textbox and fill information. Then press the button to save this information in a txt file. I also want to display the content of txt file in my web page. Please help me. Because I embedded web in microcontrollers, and it can't run apache, mysql, php so I must use html, javacript and I do not have much experience in javascript.

Not really understand how microcontroller rules out web server...
If you wan to use html/javascript in a browser environment, you have a lot of problems. In that environment JavaScript can not access local resources like IO...
You may use node.js as a solution, but in any case your description of problem is unclear...

every dear friend!! need you warm heart and warm head. First I write a firefox extension which realize a function by javascript, then I want to call this js function by a c++ client, for example, there is button in the c++ client, when I click the button, the function in the js is called. From website I know xpcome has to be used, the call sequence is "c++ client" calling "xpcom" calling "javascript", right? I am a little puzzled, would you like explain? or better if there is souce code example. Thank you very ver much!

We developed one of the application using MVC3 framework and it is successful project. Now we are going to develop a new project with the latest Microsoft web technologies. This new project need to be scalable and efficient ,so that we can extend it as SaaS application. We are thinking of using MVC3 but we also need to look at other framework that fits our new project. Before starting a new project I need to evaluate Microsoft latest web framework.
So, do you have any suggestions for any web UI framework available?

In my opinion Bootstrap is the latest UI framework. Websites developed in Bootstrap frame work are really amazing and at the same time responsive too and therefore it works great with any device.

That was not my question exactly. 
What I meant was RequireJs is a new concept that is an alternative to bundling and minification in MVC projects and the requireJs optimizer is nice. So, I want to learn that, if you could provide me with any good articles to follow up with!!
